The largest unprotected property of coastal real estate in California, NBR is at the forefront of an intense struggle over how the state agency, California Coastal Commission, should control development, protect wildlife and ensure public access. Brooks Street lead the planning and entitlement of the 400-acre active oil field, disturbed by 70 years of oil production, along the coastline into a one-of-a-kind mixed-use, master-planned resort destination. BRIDGE created a brand that clarified and simplified the vision, set it apart from opposition groups, and celebrated the goodness and the opportunity for a holistic, vibrant development for the entire community to enjoy. Good is still in the works.
